How to Make Chocolate Covered Cheescake Balls

I first stumbled upon these cheesecake balls by accident. I was baking another treat and was left with this cream cheese mixture. I covered the balls with chocolate and instantly thought I was in heaven.

Things You'll Need

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • Chocolate shell
  • Toothpicks
  • Bowls
  • Fork
  • Plate
  • Plastic wrap
  • Oil
  • Cookie sheet
  • Soften cream cheese. Place the cream cheese in a bowl and soften in the microwave for a few seconds.

  • Sweeten the cream cheese. Add the 1/2 cup of sugar and the 1/4 cup of chocolate chips to the cream cheese.

  • Drop the balls. After greasing a cookie sheet, drop small balls of the cream cheese mixture on a cookie sheet. After the sheet is full, place a toothpick in each ball and in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Dip the balls. In the ice cream aisle of the grocery store, there are chocolate shell liquids. Pour an entire bottle of this product in a bowl and dip each of the cheesecake balls into the hardening chocolate.

  • Line a plate. Place plastic wrap on a plate and grease with a little oil. After dipping each cream cheese ball, place on the plastic wrap. When the plate is full, allow the chocolate to harden in the refrigerator and enjoy.
