Things You'll Need:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 small box chocolate pudding mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- Cupcake tin
- Paper cupcake liners
- 1 tub of icing
- Hershey kisses
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 teaspoon

Step 1
Preheat the oven. The oven will need to be preheated to the temperature required by the cake mix.

Prepare the cream cheese. Soften the cream cheese in the microwave for a few seconds. With the tablespoon, cream the cream cheese with the sugar and the chocolate chips.

Prepare the cake mix. make the cake mix according to the box directions, making sure to add the box of pudding mix into the dry cake mix before adding wet ingredients.

Line the cupcake pan. Place the paper liners in the cupcake tin.

Fill the liners. Place 1 tbsp of cake batter into the bottom of the paper cake liner. Next, add 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture. Using the tbsp, fill the cupcake liner a little over half full with more cake batter.

Bake the cupcakes. Follow the cake batter instructions for the correct amount of time to bake the cupcakes.

Cool and decorate. After the cupcakes have been removed from the oven, allow to cool for 20 to 30 minutes. After they are cool, top with the icing and one Hershey Kiss directly in the center of the icing.

Repeat and change. You can change up this recipe in any of a million ways. We have switched out the chocolate chips for white chocolate and mint chips.
