Begin by cutting your string into an 18 inch strand.

    • 2

Next, tie the two ends of the cut string together into a knot. The two ends should be joined, forming a circle.

    • 3

Slip both hands into the circle, holding the string on both ends using both pointer fingers and thumbs.

    • 4

With one hand stationary, use the other hand to rotate the string, forming a twist in the center. The thread should take the shape of a bow tie. Rotate about ten times.

    • 5

Alternate opening and closing the pointer fingers on both hands. This should cause the center twist to slide from side to side.

    • 6

Practice the opening and closing technique, and lay the string across the hair that you would like to remove. The hair should pull out as you open and close the pointers and place the hair in the twist.

    • 7

Continue the process until all of the unwanted hair is removed.
