Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Internet Connection
- Account with eBay

Step 1
Login to your eBay account. If you don't have an account, setting one up is easy. Follow the directions on the site. First, look up the item you have for sale on the site to see if there are others selling the same item. Note the prices they are selling for so you can remain competitive. Before beginning the process, take a picture of the item to download. Having a picture of the item on your listing entices buyers as they will be able to see what they are purchasing.
-
Step 2
Go to the Sell tab at the top of the site. When creating your item title, make it eye catching. Make sure to include the condition of the item in the listing. Price your item reasonably based on other listings and what you feel the item is worth. If it's an item that you think will be hard to sell, attract buyers by pricing the item at 1 cent to start. Hopefully this will prompt buyers to start a bidding war. Set the shipping at a reasonable flat rate. I recommend listing your item for a five day duration.

Step 3
Periodically check back to see if your listing has any bidders. If you have watchers, try to change something on the listing to entice them to put in a bid. When there are about two days left on your listing, if there are no bidders or watchers, you may want to consider adjusting the shipping cost or changing the title and content making it more prominent. However, don't make the shipping too low that it comes out of your pocket.
