Mini-meatballs are a fun and delicious appetizer. This recipe also includes a delicious sauce. If you like, make the meatballs larger and serve with your favorite pasta dish.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    MEATBALLS:

    1 large egg
    1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
    1 Tablespoon parsley
    1/2 Tablespoon garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 pound lean ground beef

  2. Step 2

    Mix all meatball ingredients together in a large bowl. Roll marble sized balls and set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Heat 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs in oil, moving around often so all sides are browned. When all meatballs are browned, place in a greased baking dish.

  4. Step 4

    SAUCE:

    1 large can tomato paste
    2 cans water
    1/3 cup sugar
    dash salt

    Mix all sauce ingredients together.

  5. Step 5

    Pour sauce mixture over meatballs. Cover and heat in 350 degree for 1 to 2 hours.

Tips & Warnings
  • If desired, you can cook these meatballs in a slow cooker.
