Step 1
Why purchase pictures someone else has painted when you have art work that your child painted? It's time to dig out all of those pictures that you have saved since preschool. You can purchase some frames from your local dollar store to embrace your child's creativity or simply create several collages and display them around your kids room. By displaying your child's artwork you will add character to their room... their character!

Step 2
Chalk board paint is the hottest item on the market for decorating a kids room. It's easy too...
1. Choose an area in your child's room that is easy for them to access.
2. Tape off a section of the wall with painter' s tape.
3. Apply several coats of Chalk board paint. ( found in your local home improvement store)
4. Get ready for hours of creativity!
* Try Crayola's new 3D sidewalk chalk for even more fun.
* If you do not want to use one of the walls try transforming the back of their door into a chalkboard. -
Step 3
Make a hand and foot print border around your kids room. This is a great way to add memories as your child grows.
1. purchase some colorful craft paint from your local craft store.
2. pour the paint into a pan and have your child place their hand or foot into the paint.
3. Firmly place their hand or foot on the wall until you are satisfied with the design. -
Step 4
Make a family photo collage. Choose pictures that represent various stages of your child's life and put them all together in a collage to hang on the wall in your kids room.
To get even more creative you can purchase some scrap book paper and materials from your local craft store.
