Wavy or thick hair will usually be frizzy, by managing it on a daily basis you can have gorgeous hair without damaging it with heat or the expense of a hair salon.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Detangling comb
  • Mousturising shampoo and contitioner
  • Hair band
  • Spray bottle
  • Liquid hair gel
  1. Step 1

Fill the spray bottle 3/4 with water, then add a little conditioner, and a small amount of liquid hair gel.

  2. Step 2

Comb your hair through with a wide tooth detangling comb, anything with fine bristles will only make the frizz worse.

  3. Step 3

Tie you hair up into a ponytail, this will stop the hair near your scalp from frizzing.

  4. Step 4

Spray mixture onto the pony tail and a small bit ontop, scrunch the ponytail up so when you let your hair down it will be smooth ontop but curly at the bottom. Soak the pony tail, if you dont it wont do anything. Or if you've just washed your hair and its damp then you will only need to usea little to stop it from frizzing.

  5. Step 5

Wait until hair is completely dry, air drying is best but if you dont have time a quick blast with the hair dryer will do. If you let it down when its wet it will just frizz up again.

  6. Step 6

When your hair is completely dry let it down, and with your fingers comb it through, if you use a comb it will 'break' the curls.

Tips & Warnings
  • Hairspray will help to hold the hair style, and stop frizz, as the hair gel may not be able to hold the style on windy days etc.
  • I have been doing this for year, but i have shoulder length hair, you may require to put your hair up with a hair clip if it is very long.
  • If you have naturally striaght hair add some curling serum into the mixture, this will help the ends curl.
  • If you do use heat, use heat defence, otherwise your hair will become weak and frizz will be innevitable.
