Greenery comes in all shapes, sizes and shades, so it's easy to find exactly what you want for your floral arrangements. The greenery you select should highlight the flowers you use in your floral arrangement, so keep the greenery to scale.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose the flowers for your floral arrangement before you choose the greenery. Then find greenery that has variegated coloring that matches the flowers you're using to create a perfectly coordinated appearance.

  2. Step 2

Add texture to your floral arrangements by varying the greenery you use. Try adding large grass-type greenery, as well as smaller and more tightly bunched greenery to balance the bouquet. Play with various types and sizes until you find the combination that appeals to you.

  3. Step 3

Bend tea leaves into loops and staple them to create a backdrop for your floral arrangements, or to use as the base of the floral arrangement itself.

  4. Step 4

Arrange the greenery around the flowers in your floral arrangement so it's pretty from all angles. Fill in empty or bare spots in your floral arrangement with greenery that is the same size as the empty space.

  5. Step 5

Make sure you're using greenery that will last and not fade or droop during your festivities. Select strong greenery like Lilly Grass or Gaelic Leaves.
