Many women appreciate long hairstyles that allow them to keep their hair out of their face in a stylish manner. A hair puff made like twisted cornrows is a great style that's easy to do and looks great on just about anyone. It can work with medium or long hair. Styles like this are popular because they don't require a lot of hair product.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use the tail end of a tail comb to separate the section of hair for the puff from front to back. If you want the sections to blend, wiggle the tail back and forth as you grab the hair to avoid a straight part.

  2. Step 2

Start twisting the section of hair until it reaches the scalp. You can decide whether to twist from the top or bring it back a bit so it is not quite as noticeable.

  3. Step 3

Push the twisted hair forward a bit to create the puff. Use a bobby pin to secure the hair in place.

  4. Step 4

Repeat Steps 1 through 3 with many sections of hair surrounding your face. This will ensure that all of your hair effortlessly stays out of your eyes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a bit of hair spray before twisting to smooth the hair out and help keep it in place. You do not need to use a lot of product for long hair styles such as this one, but a little bit can help.
  • If your hair is thick, you may need more than one bobby pin to keep each section in place.
