Step 1
Prepare a well-lit area to take photographs, and place a white screen behind the model. Place your camera on a tripod and keep level with the model's head. Have the model look directly at the camera for the front image shot. Position the model 90 degrees from the camera for the side image shot.
-
Step 2
Select a G2 figure to modify. G2 models, designed to work with the Face Room, are best since most third party models (like those from Daz3D) will not work in the Face Room. Change to the Face Camera.
-
Step 3
Click the "Face Room" tab. Load the two photos into Poser. Left clicking the outside corner of the right eye and the left corner of the lips aligns the front image to your G2 model. Selecting the top of the right ear lobe and the front of the chin aligns the side image.
-
Step 4
Change Camera Views to review the customized 3D head. Click and drag the photo to cover the entire skull. Use the Face Shaping Tool to fine-tune your model. Tweak the 22 parameter dials to create a virtual clone.
-
Step 5
Select "apply shape only" to finish your 3D model.
