Google Notebooks are web folders that allow you to edit and save web addresses, notes and pictures. Google Notebooks are excellent for organizing startup businesses or vacations. They allow you to keep information stored together in their own separate notebook. Navigating through and rearranging your notebooks allows you to keep specific information organized in certain locations.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Log in to your Gmail account and click on "Notebooks." Click on the notebook you want to navigate or rearrange.

  2. Step 2

Scroll down to view all of the items in the notebook. Click on the items to see what is saved in each.

  3. Step 3

Navigate from one notebook to another by clicking on the links on the left side of the screen.

  4. Step 4

Click on any item or picture in the notebook. If you are able to rearrange this item, it will turn blue and a hand will appear. Click and drag the item to the preferred location. You can move items from section to section--and even from notebook to notebook--by clicking and dragging the item onto the link of that notebook or into that section.

  5. Step 5

Delete items from your notebook. Click on the item, select "Tools" and click "Delete." You can delete entire notebooks in the same fashion. Click on the notebook link but do not click inside of the notebook. Select "Tools" and then "Delete Notebook."

  6. Step 6

Print the notebook. Click on the notebook, choose "Tools" and select the "Print" option.

  7. Step 7

Select the notebook on the right-hand panel. Choose "Tools," pick the "Rename Notebook" option and type the name in.

  8. Step 8

Sort the notebook. Click on the "Sort and Filter" tab and choose "Sort by Date" or "Sort by Label." This rearranges all of the listings in the notebook by the date you edited them or in alphabetical order by the label on the items.
