Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tea cup
  • Tea cup saucer (optional)
  • Knife
  • Floral foam
  • Mix of fresh flowers
  • Green floral filler
  • Moss
  • Ribbon (optional)
  1. Step 1

Select a tea cup, with or without a saucer. It can be a cup that will coordinate with the colors in your furniture or other home decor. If giving the tea cup to a friend, select a design she'll like or consider flowers she'll enjoy.

  2. Step 2

Cut floral foam to fit in the tea cup. Consider the size in relation to the floral arrangements that you're creating. If you're doing a topiary or have long-stemmed flowers, then you may want the foam a bit lower than the rim of the tea cup.

  3. Step 3

Mix and match a variety of fresh flowers and green filler. Insert the stems into the floral foam at varying heights based on size.

  4. Step 4

Cover floral foam with moss if your flower arrangement does not cover the foam completely. A delicately-arranged ribbon helps to hide floral foam as well.

  5. Step 5

Accessorize your flower arrangement. If giving your tea cup flower arrangements as gifts, ribbons are nice.
