Things You'll Need:
- 4 juggling bags or balls
-
Step 1
Juggle a basic Fountain Pattern to start your juggling transition. Think of another pattern you want to move into from the Fountain Pattern. The 7-4-1 Pattern is one common juggling pattern for 4 balls that does require a transition to and from the Fountain.
-
Step 2
Throw a Side Swap 5 or a medium-height Cascade Throw when you are ready to move from the Fountain Pattern into the 7-4-1 Pattern to set up the transition.
-
Step 3
Move immediately from the 5 Throw into the 7, and follow up with the 4-1 combination. Complete this cycle 1 or 2 times fully before transitioning out of the pattern and back to the Fountain.
-
Step 4
Throw another 5 when you want to transition out of the 7-4-1 and back to the basic fountain to avoid ending up with three balls in one hand. If you want to just finish the trick and stop juggling rather than transitioning back into the Fountain, it's fine to end with 3 or 4 balls all in one hand, but if you do want to transition again, you need to throw the 5.
-
Step 5
Complete the transition by returning the 4 balls to your regular Fountain Pattern. Rest in the Fountain momentarily before starting your next trick.
