Crazy Pineapple Poker is just one of many variations on Texas Hold 'Em Poker. The difference between Texas Hold 'Em and Crazy Pineapple Poker is that in Crazy Pineapple, you have 3 hold cards instead of 2. The game is played and won in a similar manner to Texas Hold 'Em, using the same winning combinations of cards.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Deck of cards
  • Poker chips or other betting tools
  • Poker table
  1. Step 1

Ask the 2 players to the left to post blinds before the game begins just like in Texas Hold 'Em. The player immediately to the left posts the big blind, and the player to that player's left posts the small blind.

  2. Step 2

Shuffle the cards and deal each player 3 cards (rather than the 2 dealt in Texas Hold 'Em).

  3. Step 3

Ask the players to complete one round of betting after the 3 cards are initially dealt to each player.

  4. Step 4

Deal the flop, which consists of 3 communal cards just like in Texas Hold 'Em, and have the players complete a second round of betting.

  5. Step 5

Instruct each player to discard a single one of their 3 cards so that they now have only 2 cards in hand.

  6. Step 6

Continue the game just like Texas Hold 'Em, turning a card, betting, turning the river, betting and completing the game with the showdown.

Tips & Warnings
  • Learn the rules of Texas Hold 'Em Poker first, since Crazy Pineapple Poker is a simple variation on Texas Hold 'Em. You'll easily be able to deal a game of Crazy Pineapple Poker if you know the Texas Hold 'Em rules and procedures. You'll just have to keep in mind that the players are initially dealt 3 cards and later discard one.
