      Build your professional library. Servers need many skills including locating people, surveillance techniques, Internet research techniques and legal investigation. Continuing education is essential for process servers.

      Market your services on a weekly basis. Gather customer clients in writing and use the best quotes on your business cards, stationery and website as well as normal advertising material. Join the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS) for additional exposure.
