How to Make a Wallet
If you need a wallet to hold your cash but are short on cash, make one. Make a wallet with paper and tape to have a fully functional and mostly free wallet. One of the best parts about paper wallets is that they are easy to replace when they become worn or you are ready for a change. Use printed paper or use plain paper and decorate with your own art work.

1
Fold the paper in half length wise to form a piece that is 8 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Open the paper. Fold each end into the center fold. Press the folds down, but do not crease them.
-
2
Keep the paper folded into fourths and fold the paper length wise. Start at the new fold line and run your fingers along the side folds to crease each of the folds.

3
Unfold the paper and lay it on a flat surface. Cut 1/4 inch into each of the side creases. Cut a 1/4 inch section out of the center of the wallet from the bottom edge to the center fold of the paper.
-
4
Make folds on each side of the bottom section of the paper. Fold each edge in 1/4 inch. Skip the next section, then fold the edges of the following section in 1/4 of an inch.
-
5
Place a piece of tape over each side of the cut on the bottom of the paper. Refold the paper along all of the lines. Crease all of the edges.
-
6
Open the last fold. Hold the wallet with the outside facing you. Turn the wallet so the ends are facing up and down.
-
7
Fold the flap that is closest away from you and slide it into the pocket on the other side. Fold the other flap towards you and slide it into the pocket closest to you. Repeat on the other end. Fold the wallet back in half and it is ready to go.
