The orange-lemon slice and marshmallow punch is a drink often used at large parties such as weddings, birthdays or reunions. This punch is non-alcoholic, but Rum and Bacardi can be added to the mix to give it an adult punch. This drink takes 5 to 10 minutes to prepare.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Spoon
  • Large punch bowl
  • 1 gallon orange sherbet
  • 2 2-liter bottles of ginger ale
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • Knife
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 lemons
  • Bag of miniature marshmallows
  1. Step 1

Spoon half of the sherbet into the punch bowl. The sherbet remains frozen until you mix the punch. This keeps the punch cool and adds thickness to the punch.

  2. Step 2

Poor 1 liter of ginger ale and 1/4 cup of lemon juice into the bowl. Stir the punch.

  3. Step 3

Slice the oranges and lemons in to flat, round disks. Some people peel the lemons and oranges; others leave the rind on. It's up to you.

  4. Step 4

Place 1/4 to half of the orange and lemon slices in the punch. Stir the punch thoroughly.

  5. Step 5

Place the other half of the ingredients if the punch bowl is large enough. If the bowl is not large enough, keep the other ingredients refrigerated and place them in the punch when needed.

  6. Step 6

Sprinkle marshmallows over the top of the drink. The amount of marshmallows depends on your taste.

  7. Step 7

Stir the punch every 5 to 10 minutes or the sherbet settles to the bottom of the bowl.

Tips & Warnings
  • For variety, substitute cherries for the marshmallows.
  • Substitute limes and lime sherbet for oranges for a completely different taste.
