Before the advent of artificial family planning, many grandmothers knew how to handle multiples of children in diapers. Now that the technique is lost in the previous generation, people must learn to tackle two kids in diapers on their own. Here is how to successfully handle two kids in diapers.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging
Step1
Get over the shock. When you finally realize you have two kids in diapers at the same time, you may think your life will turn upside down, but it won't. Think of it as an extended vacation from all the running around you normally do.
Step2
Change your focus and think of your children as a blessing rather than a burden. Consider all the extra use you get out of the baby equipment, which otherwise might be wasted. A change in your attitude can really make the difference of what might seem an endless stream of diaper changes for two kids.
Step3
Line up two kids in diapers to take care of business. It is always easier to change, bath, feed and clothe two (or more) kids in an assembly line fashion. When it's time to brush their teeth, put the toothpaste on all toothbrushes including your own, then brush.
Step4
Prepare what you can ahead of time. Hang up a towel for each child before you put anyone in the tub. The nesting instinct that kicks in with your last trimester may also take care of some of the preparations.
Step5
Connect with other moms. Motherhood is an endless stream of trials and successes. Thankfully, with the advent of the Internet, moms can connect easily with others to get and give help and support. Try chat rooms such as Education for the Soul's Mom's encouragement center.
