Eclectic wicca is the least ridged form of wicca, taking influence not only from other forms of wicca, but also other natural religions such as paganism, herbal medicine, energy healing, crystal therapy and more. While some people consider eclectic wicca an "anything goes" form of spiritualism, there are a few tips that you should keep in mind as you practice.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Keep the five points of wicca in mind as you practice and develop your own personal form of eclectic wicca. These five points can be mapped on a pentagram starting with the top point and working clockwise. The top point represents spirit, moving around to earth, air, water and fire. With each point is also a theory to live by, beginning with the top point includes attunement, the rede or free will, return, or what you give comes back threefold, self-responsibility and constant evolution of self.

  2. Step 2

Study and explore the world around you, developing your own tools and belief system by adopting principles which work for you and letting go of those that don't. Your belief system can be drawn from organized religion, Native American beliefs, Chinese medicine, crystal therapy and more. However, remember the basic principle which states that your eclectic wicca practice is to send positive energy into the world without doing harm to yourself, to others or to nature.

  3. Step 3

Create circles as you practice eclectic wicca. This has broad meaning, and can include creating a circle of positive energy around you and a protective circle around your home. It can also mean placing yourself in a circle during ritual practices and worshiping in a circle of friends.

  4. Step 4

Focus on the energy and spirit of nature, a basic concept in all forms of wicca. Turn up to the sky, learning about astrology and astronomy, turn to the hearth for medicine and healing, to the trees for wisdom and strength and to the moon for guidance in spiritual practice. How you choose to use the power of nature is up to you; however, every natural thing on the planet, both living and inanimate, should be respected for it's role in the bigger picture.

on 1/16/2009 thanks, I really couldn't tell anyone which form of what, that I do, because I intertwine sooooo many different aspects of earth, space and human energy.
I've taken so many different classes, joined different groups, did native american sweats, stones, candles. nummbers, herbs, and more.
Not everything at each setting felt right, so I just took out of it what i felt i could use, and went my own way, interacting as i could, or needed to in any given situation.
Clarification is an uplifting feeling,
So Mote It Be!!!!
