Step 1
Focus on your personal development of traditional faery wicca skills which include practices in divination or development of the psychic mind as well as becoming in tune with the energy system of the body. Additionally, to practice faery wicca, one must have an understanding of astrology and anatomy as well as herbology and botony.

Step 2
Find your tree, as trees are considered the spirit of wisdom; while each practitioner may use the resources of more than one tree, each individual has a specific tree which helps them to develop their own practice. A natural and spiritual affinity to a specific form of tree should come naturally. Seek out this type of tree, using all of it's natural parts, meditating beside it and using it during ritual practice.

Step 3
Worship according a lunar cycle, performing rites during the new crescent moon, known as the Red Cow or Bó Ruad and the full moon, or Bó Finn, the White Cow. Rites can also be practiced during Bó Donn, the Brown Cow or the receding crescent moon and the full moon, Bó Orann or the Dark Cow.
-
Step 4
Celebrate communal festivals during high holidays. High holidays include Samhain on October 31, Nollaig on December 21, Imbolc on February 1, Lá Fhéile Earrach on March 21, Lá Bealtaine on May 1, Lá Fhéile Eoin on June 21, Lúnasa on August 1 and Lá Fhéile Fómhar on September 21. When performing a rite of passage ritual, practice the rite during Nollaig, or the winter solstice.
-
Step 5
Be creative and draw from a multitude of sources when performing rituals and chants. Poetic improvisation and influences from other forms of wicca is not only accepted, it is encouraged. However, rites should be organized to evoke nature spirits and encourage possession by positive spirits.

Step 6
Become aware of your sexuality, as freedom of sexual expression is encouraged in the practice of faery wicca. While more sexual risk-taking is allowed in faery yoga, it should be explored with positive energy in a way that does not harm you or your sexual partners.
