Celtic wicca is a form of wicca which focuses on the pagan practices during Roman times. Celtic wicca practice is a way of life which becomes intimately intertwined in daily activities. While many of the concepts are the same as other forms of wicca, a few tips can help guide your personal practice.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Celebrate the eight sabbats, just as in other forms of wicca, with at least a small ritual at home. The eight sabbats include the equinoxes on September 21 and March 21 as well as the solstices on June 21 and December 21. Additional sabbats include Samhain on October 31, Imbole on February 2, Beltaine on May 1, and Lugnasadh on August 1.

  2. Step 2

Emphasize your practice on nature, or Gaia, including colors, sprits, trees, flowers, crystals, the sun, moon and stars. From the food you grow and prepare to the jewelry you choose to wear, each aspect of your life should be approached with the respect and love of nature in mind.

  3. Step 3

Use numbers for power. The Celtic power numbers are 3, 5, 7, 9 and 13. For example, when writing a ritual, use a piece of paper with is 3 by 5, or 7 by 7. Use these numbers when making jewelry, cooking, drawing, writing poetry, giving names and more.

  4. Step 4

Learn Celtic wicca from books, practice and meditation; however, seek out other Celtic wiccans as well, because the inner working of this practice are often difficult to learn if not involved in a community of people. Understand that practice will take a lifetime to learn, as constant growth and attunement is an important part of your spirituality.
