How to Make Invitations Using Print Shop Deluxe

You can easily make invitations on your home computer for a fraction of what it would cost to buy them. Making your own invitations allows the creator to add a personal touch and making the invitations very unique. Print Shop Deluxe is a great program for making creative documents on your home computer.

Instructions

1. Open Print Shop Deluxe. In the menu labeled "Select a Project," click on "Greeting Cards."

2. Select a Path. On this menu you can either choose to "Customize a Ready Made" or "Start from Scratch." Select "Customize a Ready Made."

3. Determine a Theme. In this menu you will be given the option to select one of six themes: birthday, holiday, celebration, friendship, invitation or all themes. Choose "Invitation."

4. Choose a Ready Made. There is a scroll box on the left of the menu that list the types of ready made invitations. For this example, choose Anniversary Party. Be sure that your choice is highlighted then click the Select button.

5. Customize your card. Next the ready made card will appear. You can alter the picture or text on the front, inside or back of the card. You can change the size of the image or the text on the card.

6. Print the card. Once you have altered the card to your liking you may print it. Either click on the printer icon on the tool bar or choose "File" and "Print" from the drop-down menu.
