How to Recover Deleted Images on a Computer
It has happened to all of us at one time or another. We have deleted an important image or a photo from our computer that we thought we no longer needed, or deleted the image by accident. In most cases this image is still on your computer and you can recover it. Here is how.

Open your "Recycle Bin," typically found on your desktop to see if the image is in there. If it is, you can simply drag it from your recycle bin to your desktop or right-click "Copy" and go to a blank spot on your desktop and right-click Paste".

Search your hard drive for the image. Click "Start," select "Search" and choose "For Files and Folders." In the search results box choose "Pictures, music or video" and indicate with a check mark "Picture and Photos." Type all or part of the file name and click "Search" to begin this process.

Notice after your search is completed and your image located you can right click on the image and choose "Properties" to view the location of this image on your hard drive.

Right-click your image and choose "Copy." Go to a blank spot on your desktop and right click and choose "Paste" your image is restored successfully.

Check online for a program or tool that you can download to undelete or recover your image. There are many to choose from and some that are free such as "Undelete Plus."

THANK YOU so MUCH for posting this, whoever you are. I woke up this morning, and to my dismay, all my pictures, videos, and documents were gone. I couldn't understand it, as I had done nothing the previous night to ruin anything. I have been searchign all day for a way to retrieve the files, and after reading a tip on this sight, found them!
