Step 1
Use pictures or graphics that clearly portray your business. Choose a few photos that will get your service or product across quickly. If you are a pet sitter, for example, include a picture of someone walking a dog or petting a cat.
-
Step 2
Choose one message or picture that will dominate your flyer. The top half of flyers get the most attention, so pick something for this area that will keep the reader interested in reading more. Make this text or picture stand out by making it larger in size than the remaining information.
-
Step 3
Keep it simple. Providing excessive text or pictures will leave the reader bogged down and less likely to spend time going through it. Make sure you leave some blank space on the flyer and not overload it with information. Choose no more than two different font styles for the text and keep it straight to the point.
-
Step 4
Be real with your information and promises. When creating a flyer for available services, only list the ones that you are prepared to provide. If the flyer is for a product, refrain from making guarantees that you can not back up. Be positive in your information but choose your words carefully.
-
Step 5
Include special discount offers or coupons on the flyer. This will push the reader to stop and examine the information at greater length.
