Step 1
Know that others are reading the comments people leave on your page. Some will go to the other person's page to see if you left a reply. You've probably done it, too. It's just too intriguing sometimes to not try to snoop and see what's going on. Keep this in mind: Whatever you've done on MySpace, someone else is doing.

Step 2
Leave only messages on other people's pages that you're OK with everyone reading. It doesn't really matter if that person has her page blocked to the public; all of her MySpace friends can see your comment. If it's personal, send her an email by clicking "Send Message."
-
Step 3
Represent yourself well and consistently in how you leave comments. Think about the future a little. You don't have time to go into every page and delete the comments you wished you hadn't left. Express any impulsive emotions in another format, not this public venue.
-
Step 4
Delete any comments from others that you don't feel comfortable having everyone read. You don't need to feel bad about deleting them. If you receive a lot of these messages, go to your settings and set up your page so that you have the option of approving comments before they hit your page.
