How to Sell Digital Products on eBay
Digital products are one of the product categories that eBay sellers most desire to sell. When a sellers sells a digital product, there is no item to stock and nothing to ship. There is no postage to collect and no packaging to buy. Delivery of digital products on eBay is automatic and requires little of the seller after the product is listed.

1
Create a digital product. Most digital products are either ebooks or pieces of software. The product should have a defined market that will want to buy it. Items that help people to solve a pressing problem tend to sell best.

2
Find a site to host the digital item. Some digital products are hosted with companies that charge a commission fee for sales. Sites like these include PayLoadz and WAHMcart. More experienced programmers and webmasters can create their own site that stores the file and allows buyers to download the digital product.

3
Make an eBay listing that accurately describes the product. Point out all the things that the digital item can help buyers with and how they will benefit from it. Use PayPal as the only payment type. This will allow the payment to trigger the automatic download of the product. With automatic delivery, the buyer has nothing more to do in the transaction other than leave feedback for the buyer.

4
Keep the item listed. Relist whenever the new listing ends unless it is a store listing, which can be set to relist themselves. Update the digital product whenever it's needed in order to keep it current.
