Step 1

Decide which type of tires you need for the ATV. Do you want stock tires, mud tires, super mud grips or extra-large tires? Stock tires are simply what you get from the dealer, nothing special or fancy. The tread on these tires is usually pretty weak. Mud tires and super mud grips are for playing in the mud. Both will work well, but the grips on the supers will get you through almost anything. Extra-large tires usually just raise the ATV a bit and have relatively good mud grips as well.
Step 2

Visit your local ATV dealership and ask them if they have discount tires for sale. If they do not, ask where you could find such tires.
Step 3

Attend an ATV or car auction. These are usually held in large cities during the weekends and are free to attend. Great deals on ATV tires are very possible at events like this. These events can be found by calling the chamber of commerce in the designated city, or by contacting convention and exposition centers.
Step 4

Research for the best price. There are thousands of reputable dealers who sell quality discount ATV tires for a living. Some such dealers can be found on sites such as Tires Unlimited, Discount ATV Tires, 4 Wheeler Tires and Onoffroad (see Resources below).
