How to Delete Storage Protector From a Computer

Storage Protector is one of the vicious Internet threats to computers. Storage Protector has a unique file extension, which makes it difficult for many security tools to locate it. Storage Protector searches through your computer and locates your personal and financial information with the intention of selling it to third-party buyers.

Step1
Click on the "Start" button. Locate and click on the word "Search." Type in the following text to search your computer for Storage Protector: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run@^StorageProtector. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run@^NI.UGES_0001_N122M2111.
Step2
Right-click on the files if the search finds them on your computer. Select "Delete" to remove the files.
Step3
Click on "Search" in Start menu and type: HKEY_CURRENT_USER StorageProtector." This finds Storage Protection in the registry keys. Search for all the Storage Protector files inside HKEY_CURRENT_USER as the search finds them. Right-click on the files you want to delete. Select "Delete" to remove them from your computer.
Step4
Remove all Storage Protector files. Search for and delete these files from your computer following the same search and delete process from Steps 1 and 2 (the file names are separated by ";"): %app_data%\setup_en.exe, program_files%\[randomized 6 char, string].exe; %program_files%\ storageprotector\sysrep.exe,%program_files%\ common files\storageprotector\strpmon.exe; %program_files%\ storageprotector\transpaid.exe; %program_files%\[randomized 6 char. string].dll; %program_files%\storageprotector\ugescw.exe; %program_files%\[randomized 5 char. string].dll; %program_files%\storageprotector\msvcr71.dll
%program_files%\storageprotector\mfc71.dll; and %program_files%\storageprotector\msvcp71.dll.
Step5
Stop Storage Protecter from starting again. Locate and delete any or all of these files on your computer: setup.exe, ugescw.exe, setup_en.exe, sysrep.exe,[randomized 6 char. string].exe, trpmon.exe, and transpaid.exe.
Step6
Reboot your computer.
