Step 1
Scan a job advertisement for an email processor. The advertisements say you'll be paid a certain amount of money for each email that you successfully process. It's not uncommon to read that you will be paid around $25 for each processed email.
-
Step 2
Respond to the job advertisement using the contact information provided. Usually, there's only an email address and no company name.
-
Step 3
Read the scammer's response and note that you must pay a non-refundable fee to receive details on the job.
-
Step 4
Resist paying the scammer. Most often, the fee that the scammer requires is the same fee shown in the job advertisement as payment for each processed email.
-
Step 5
Receive the job information if you went ahead and paid the scammer. Your job title may be "email editor" or "email writer." The job description says you need to send out many emails at one time. Each of these emails contains a spam message and a link to products or services. In some cases, the spam message is the job advertisement to which you responded.
-
Step 6
Send the spam messages only to learn that you won't be paid for each email delivery. Instead, your payment is based on how many email recipients buy the products offered in the email or pay the upfront fee for more information.

on 12/9/2008 I purchased "Process At Home's" online rebate processing scam. For the $197 purchase price, I was supposedly going to receive a daily email list of customer rebates to process; I was led to believe that each rebate takes about 4-minutes to process and that there were an endless amount of rebates to process. What this ended up being is a scam that required you to apply to affiliate network companies and market the rebate offers yourself; there were no email lists!
