Step 1
Come up with the guest list for your wedding. Once your list is set in stone, spend some time researching email addresses of all your guests. You may want to designate one of your bridesmaids the duty of collecting and making calls to find out everyone's email.

Find an online site that sends out e-vite invitations for free. There are certain websites that are popular that specialize in wedding evites (see Resources).

Design your online wedding evite by using the simple templates provided by the online sites. Most evite sites provide a variety of templates to use that will best convey your style wedding. Be sure that you use a template that asks guests to respond. You will need to take a head count for food preparation.

Prepare an address book for all of your wedding guests. When it is time to send out the evites, all you will need to do is plug in the email addresses. If you are not handy with the computer, be sure to seek help from a bridesmaid or family member.

Send out the wedding evite invitations. If for some reason any of the emails get returned to you because of an invalid email address error, designate a member of your wedding party to place a phone call to inform about your wedding.
