Playing the drinking game Thumpers can be loads of fun for everyone involved. With just a few people and a couple of cases of beer, the fun begins. There are certain directions that must be followed in order for the game to go smoothly. The following steps will tell you how.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sit around a table or on the floor with all the participants in the game.

  2. Step 2

Choose a hand gesture that will represent you throughout the game. It can be sexual, simple, enticing or funny, as long as it is extremely short.

  3. Step 3

Drum in unison on the floor or table with the rest of the participants. Someone will say, "What's the name of this game?" and everyone responds loudly with, "Thumper" The game has officially began.

  4. Step 4

Make the hand gesture. The leader makes his hand gesture as well as someone else's at the table. The designated player whose gesture was made then makes his gesture and someone else's and so on. When someone messes up or a cue is missed, that individual must drink.

  5. Step 5

Chug. If someone messes up three times in a row, they have to chug a beer then hold the container upside down over their head to show everyone it is empty. The more intoxicated everyone gets, the more beer gets poured over heads.

Tips & Warnings
  • The drumming, or thumping on the floor can be modified throughout the game for more laughs. It can be slowed down, made faster, or put into slow motion.
  • Another rule often inherited is the "No Pointing Rule." If anyone points a finger at anyone during the duration of the game, they have to drink. It is much harder than it would seem.
  • Extreme intoxication and alcohol poisoning could occur by playing this drinking game. Drink in moderation.
