Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Concealer brush (camouflage brush)
  • Neutralizing corrective makeup (with proper hue)
  • Skin colored corrective makeup
  • Powder foundation
  1. Step 1

Purchase a concealer brush, also known as a camouflage brush, to apply corrective makeup. This special brush is made from tiny bristles, allowing you to cover imperfections quickly, evenly and without waste.

  2. Step 2

Choose two base concealers. The first concealer should be a neutralizing concealer which has a yellow, green or bluish tint to help cover the particular flaw. The second concealer should match your skin tone as perfectly as possible.

  3. Step 3

Select neutralizing corrective makeup with yellow hues if you are covering up blue tones, such as most tattoos, fresh bruises or under eye circles.

  4. Step 4

Go with a green colored neutralizing concealer when covering red, such as red ink tattoos, acne or skin rashes.

  5. Step 5

Use neutralizing concealers with purple hues if covering browns, such as birth marks or moles.

  6. Step 6

Apply your chosen neutralizing concealer and allow it to set completely. Once dry, apply a light layer of your skin colored concealer on top, feathering it out beyond the edges of the neutralizing corrective base and blending into your skin. Once again, allow the concealer to dry completely.

  7. Step 7

Finish by applying a powder foundation that matches your skin tone, blending well while taking care not to work firmly over your corrective makeup base.
