If you have used ruler guides to place elements in your Microsoft Publisher 2007 document, you may want to hide the guides so you can get a finished view of your document. Use the steps below to hide the guides so they won't show up unless you choose to display them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Microsoft Publisher 2007
Step1
Locate the ruler guides, which are green horizontal or vertical lines within the Publisher document.
Step2
Choose the "View" menu and click "Boundaries and Guides" to remove the checkmark from the option. This will hide any guides or boundaries that you have set in your Publisher document. You can use the keyboard shortcut of "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "O" instead of using the menus to hide the ruler guides.
Step3
Display the ruler guides by selecting the "View" menu and clicking on "Boundaries and Guides" to add a checkmark to the option. The ruler guides that were hidden will display.
