You may decide that you want to swap one picture for a new picture in your Microsoft Excel 2007 workbook. An easy way to do this is to use the "Change Picture" button to replace the existing picture with a new image.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Microsoft Excel 2007

Step1
Start Microsoft Excel 2007, and open an existing workbook from your files that contains at least one picture that you want to replace.
Step2
Click to select the picture that you want to replace. You will see white sizing handles surrounding the picture, indicating that it is selected and ready to be replaced.
Step3
Choose the pink "Format" tab at the top of the Excel screen to display the Format ribbon. The Format ribbon contains all the commands that can be used to format a picture in Excel.
Step4
Click the "Change Picture" button from the "Adjust" section of the Format ribbon. The "Insert Picture" dialog box will open.
Step5
Use the "Look in" drop-down list and large white area in the center of the "Insert Picture" dialog box to browse for a replacement picture. Click to select that picture and click the "Insert" button in the bottom right corner of the dialog box. The dialog box will close and the picture you selected from the workbook will be replaced with the picture you just chose.
