As a Mac lover, you hate working on a machine with a Windows operating system. Sometimes it's required though, and the vast majority of Windows users are upgrading from Windows XP to Vista. Fortunately, even on a Windows computer, there are ways to change the look and feel of your system. Making it look like a Mac is easier now than ever.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Buy a WinRAR shareware CD from the RARLab website and wait for the delivery so you can install it. If you already have software that decompresses a RAR file, skip to Step 2.

  2. Step 2

Go to Patrickgs' website and download a Mac theme for a Windows Vista machine on the Deviant Art website. Click on the download link and use the decompression software to open the file.

  3. Step 3

Save the file on your hard drive and open it. Double-click the executable file to begin the installation process. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard for setting up your new Mac theme.

Tips & Warnings
  • To make your Vista machine really look and act more like a Mac, download the RK Launcher. It's inspired by the toolbar that's written into the OS X operating system, and it's equally as functional.
