How to Know She Doesn't Want to Have Sex

Intimacy in a relationship is crucial to its survival. However, sex dwindles as a relationship ages. Interest in your partner diminishes and sex becomes a chore. For men, this becomes exceedingly frustrating because of the power that women hold when it comes to sex. Knowing how to navigate the testy sexual waters can help you get through the rough patch in your relationship and jump start your love life.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Listen to your partner. If she seems consumed with work or is stressed out, odds are sex is the last thing on her mind. Holding back from asking for sex for a few nights can probably get the two of you back on track faster than if you begged for it.

  2. Step 2

Be subtle when initiating sex. Start off slow with a back rub. Try kissing her neck to gauge her reaction to sex.

  3. Step 3

Watch her body language. If she stiffens up or moves away when you touch her, back off and try another night.

  4. Step 4

Talk to your partner. When you're not sure, honest communication is your best bet. Ask her why she has been distant lately and be receptive to her needs.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't forget about sex altogether. Just because she doesn't want sex at the moment doesn't mean she won't ever have sex with you again. Keep romancing her and give her time to come around.
  • Avoid getting angry with her. It only prolongs the drought and stress her out more than she needs to be.
