Step 1
Roll fakie to start this trick. Fakie simply means you are going backwards. Place your forward foot at the board's edge, ready to flip it over. Put your rear foot in a sideways position on the board's tail. Remember that while doing a Casper, your feet won't touch the pavement.
-
Step 2
Jump up slightly and press down on the board's edge. Scoop up the board with your front foot. While in the air, move the back foot to land on the underside of the board near the tail right at the truck. The truck is the metal hardware that the wheels and axle is attached to the board. Land in the Casper position.

Step 3
Keep the board from touching the ground with your front foot which also stays off the pavement. Your back foot also does not touch the ground, but is balancing at the bottom of the tail. Staying in this position is hard so don't try to stay in it too long and blow the whole move by losing your balance.

Step 4
Go into the Hop. Raise the board's nose straight up. Jump a second time and let the board flip over while you are in the air. Use your front foot to guide the board to flip end over end instead of flipping into a kickflip. Move your back foot over the board to land it.
