Twitter is the most popular micro-blogging platform on the Internet. People use Twitter for everything from socializing with friends to marketing products and websites. For bloggers, Twitter can be especially useful and versatile. You can even put Twitter on a blog.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Navigate to the Twitter badge page. When prompted, log in with your Twitter username and password.

  2. Step 2

Select the appropriate type of blog from the "Where do you want to put it?" menu. If your particular type of blog is not listed, select "Other."

  3. Step 3

Choose the relevant options, such as layout, color and number of Twitter updates to display on your blog's badge.

  4. Step 4

Insert the Twitter badge code according to the instructions.

  5. Step 5

Send a Twitter update and navigate to your blog to verify that it shows up.

Tips & Warnings
  • There are a number of other blog-related tools available for Twitter. Select the "Downloads" link from the main Twitter website to browse some of these tools.
  • If your blog is on a Word Press format, you might consider using the Twitter Tools plug-in instead of adding the Twitter badge. Twitter Tools provides 2-way communication between your blog and your Twitter account. Download Twitter Tools from the Twitter Tools website.
  • Any time you add a widget to a blog, you run the risk of crashing it. Make certain you back up your blog prior to installing the Twitter badge, or be prepared to reset your blog's template or design back to a default configuration.
