How to Update Facebook With Twitter

Twitter is a social networking tool on the Internet. Not only is Twitter a feature-rich application in its own right, but Twitter can even interface directly with other social networking tools. You can even update Facebook with Twitter.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to the Facebook Twitter Interface web page. From there, Facebook will prompt you to enter your Twitter user name and password.

2. Select "Twitter" from any Facebook page to go to your Twitter timeline. The Twitter timeline within Facebook mirrors the standard Twitter timeline.

3. Update your Twitter status with your usual method of updates, whether that's through an application like Twhirl or through the Twitter homepage. No matter which method you use, the update will appear on your Facebook status.

4. Click on "Account" from any Facebook page to get into your Facebook account options. From there, select "Notifications" and then "Other Applications" to toggle the connection with Twitter on and off.

Tips & Warnings

• If you don't already have a Facebook account, you can navigate to the Facebook Twitter Interface web page and sign up from there.

• The Twitter page within Facebook will also allow you to update Twitter directly, rather than using the Twitter home page or an external application.

• When you update Twitter, you are only updating the "status" portion of Facebook. If you want to update another area of Facebook, you'll have to use an application other than Twitter.
