Many people today use a PDA, or a Personal Digital Assistant, for small everyday tasks. Some cell phones even have built in PDA's. PDA's can be used for anything from organizing your schedule to checking your email. If you have internet access on your PDA you can access nearly any page you could with a home PC. You can even check the weather using a PDA.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sign onto the Internet on your PDA. There are a few sites you can choose from to access the weather (see Resources). Now hit the corresponding button or choice to take you to that website.

  2. Step 2

Enter your zip code. There is a large box under the words PDA Weather that says Zipcode. Enter your five-digit zip code here. You can enter any zip code to view the weather for that area.

  3. Step 3

Click on Get Weather Data. This will take you to the next page where it will display a map and the weather data for the current local conditions. The page will include the zip code's location (including latitude and longitude), where the weather data is recorded, when it was last updated, and the current weather conditions.

  4. Step 4

Scroll down to see more options. Below the current conditions you have the option to look at a detailed seven-day forecast, your local radar, current conditions, satellite images, hazardous weather and an area forecast discussion.

  5. Step 5

Click on detailed seven-day forecast. On this page you will find the weather conditions for the next seven days. It will show not only the weather conditions during the day but also for that corresponding evening. This page will tell you the general weather status, the expected temperature, the direction and speed of the wind and what percentage chance there is of a weather condition.
