- Monkey pictures
- Scissors
- Magnetic sheets
- Foam core
- Poster paints
- Small paint brushes
- Googly eyes
- Glue
- Craft knife
- Magnets
Monkey Photo Magnets
Step1
Find pictures of the monkeys you want to turn into magnets. Choose from kids books, clip art or wildlife pictures.
Step2
Cut the monkeys from the pictures you've chosen.
Step3
Pull the adhesive backing off a square of magnet that's larger than the monkey and attach the picture to the magnet.
Step4
Cut the excess magnet away from the monkey shape and stick your new monkey magnet to the refrigerator.
Foam Core Monkey Magnets
Step1
Draw the shape of a monkey on your foam core. It can be as large or small as you like and your drawing can be very detailed or primitive.
Step2
Decorate the drawing of your monkey. Color it using poster paints or colored markers.
Step3
Glue googly eyes on the face of your monkey. You can find them at your local craft store.
Step4
Cut your decorated monkey out of the foam core using a very sharp craft knife.
Step5
Attach magnets to the back of your monkey and place it on your refrigerator.
