How to Make a Paddle Ball Turkey
Paddleball games have been around for years and playing paddleball is a fun childhood memory for many of us. You probably never imagined that a paddleball game can also become a whimsical Thanksgiving decoration, but it can become exactly that, with very little time and minimal expense. Things You'll Need
- 1 plain wooden paddleball game
- Brown tempera paint or poster paint
- Red tempera paint or poster paint
- Sponge brush
- Small paintbrush
- 2 googly eyes
- Yellow, orange, gold and brown craft feathers
- White craft glue or tacky glue

Paint the paddle with a sponge brush and brown tempera or poster paint.

Glue craft feathers to the back of the paddle like a fan arrangement, and glue a few small ones to the head, (the end of the handle).

Glue two googly eyes to the turkey's face. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly.

Paint a beak on the turkey's face with a small paintbrush and gold, orange or yellow paint.

Make a waddle on the turkey's chin with a small paintbrush and red paint.

Play with the paddle very carefully or hang it on the wall as a Thanksgiving decoration.

Tips & Warnings
If you choose for your paddleball turkey to be a Thanksgiving decoration, you can remove the rubber ball and elastic string and attach a small hook to the back.
Paddleball games can be purchased very inexpensively at toy stores, and would make fun favors for your guests to take home. They make a great reminder of an enjoyable Thanksgiving day.
