How to Talk to the Dead Through Hot Reading

When a medium performs a hot reading it means they are entering the situation with a lot of information ahead of time. This type of reading allows the medium to concentrate on very specific questions for their client. Look below for a few tips on how to talk to the dead through a hot reading.

Instructions

1. Ask the client for as much biographical information about the deceased. This allows you to focus your concentration on calling on a single specific spirit.

2. Utilize personal artifacts of the deceased to aid in focusing your energies on the spirit. Ask questions about the objects to provide you with inner dialogs and image to aid in your mediumship.

3. Allow yourself to fall into a meditative or trance like state. Relax the body, open the mind and concentrate on the deceased in question. Do this until contact is made.

4. Inform the client when you have made contact and ask for a few confirming details. The deceased may have distinguishing physical feature or turn of phrase that the client will recognize. This step is not necessary for all clients.

5. Get the client to tell you what they wish to know and what questions they would like answered. Don't waste your client's time asking mundane questions. The client may be very sensitive at this juncture of the reading.

6. Repeat the client's questions to the deceased in your individual way and wait for a reply. Be careful not to over anticipate the deceased or assume a response before it is given. You could be surprised at some of the answers you receive.

7. Relay any and all images, symbols and dialog to your client even if they do not appear to make sense at the time. Any information you can give a client will be gratefully received. Stay truthful and open with your client at all times.
