If you want healthy meals, but don't have time to cook, you can find low fat frozen foods. Frozen foods can be close to homemade, and you can have them ready in a lot less time.

From Quick Guide: Weight Loss Foods
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Read the label. Any frozen meal with 300 calories or less is considered a low fat meal.

  2. Step 2

Select Weight Watchers frozen meals. The Weight Watchers brand that you find in most supermarkets is Smart Ones. They come in a variety of forms including entrées, breakfast foods and desserts. Although these meals may have more than 300 calories, they are typically a great low fat choice.

  3. Step 3

Choose frozen vegetables. Fresh vegetables are the best choice, however if you don't have the time to prepare them, buy frozen vegetables. They are closer to fresh vegetables than canned vegetables.

  4. Step 4

Serve sherbet or sorbet instead of ice cream. These are much lower in fat. Other items to choose for a dessert or snack are Fudgesicles and frozen yogurt.
