How to Unblock Websites on an Individual PC

Some computers or servers block certain websites that you need to access. Sometimes getting around this is tricky, but in most cases it's relatively easy to do. Unblocking websites in Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer takes a few clicks and a little bit of know-how.

Firefox

1. Look at the top screen of Mozilla Firefox and click the "Tools" menu then click on "Preferences." The "Tools" menu allows you to change your browser settings.

2. Select the blue globe named "Content." The first option should be "Block Pop-up Windows." Deselect the box to allow pop-ups; if the site you are trying to access is a pop-up page, then your pop-up blocker might be blocking it.

3. Choose "Allow Exceptions" and enter the web address you want unblocked. It only unblocks that one site so you're not overrun with ads.

Internet Explorer

4. Click on the "Tools" tab at the top of your browser window then select the option called "Pop-up Blocker" in Internet Explorer. Select "Turn Off Pop-up Blocker." Now all pop-ups are enabled.

5. Browse through a web proxy. A web proxy, such as Night Star Productions, allows you to access blocked websites (see Resources).

6. Type the complete URL, including the http://, of the web page you're trying to access into the space provided on the web proxy website. The URL is the address of the web page.

My country is Iran and maybe lots of you know we have very democratic goverment (lol)and nearly everythings here in my country is free for all of us !!(like drinking water and eat lunch ...no more) one of our problem (just one of theam)is most of web sites is blocked by goverment , one of theam is Face book and me and lots of people like me cant open that, i want to know that can we find a way to unblock Face book or no and maybe only way that we have is waiting for another goverment!!
