Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make sure your condo fits into the market of timeshare rentals and vacation homes. You should live in an area that offers tourist attractions to lure visitors. Many timeshare properties are located in a tropical place or near beaches, or in a city with many tourist attractions.

  2. Step 2

Remove everything in your condo that you don't want to be touched by other guests. Find a closet to put your things away in and get a lock for the door to protect your privacy. Make sure your timeshare looks clean and has everything your guests will need while staying in your condo. You may need to hire a cleaning staff if the place is quite messy.

  3. Step 3

Get a timeshare professional agent to look over your condo and give you an idea about how much you should charge people to rent out your timeshare.

  4. Step 4

Figure out what time of the year you want your condo to be a timeshare and what time of the year you will want to stay there. If you have another home, then you can rent your timeshare out throughout the whole year.

  5. Step 5

Decide if you want to charge a security deposit or restrict pets. Perhaps you want to rent out the place only on a weekly or monthly basis. You may need to make a list of house rules for your guests so they know the rules.

  6. Step 6

Advertise your timeshare in newspapers, magazines and on the Internet. Take some photos of your condo. You will need these photos to post your new timeshare condo on websites and place it in newspapers. Post your timeshare on websites like sellmytimesharenow.com or timesharehotdeal.com.

Tips & Warnings
