Step 1
Visit the Curacao Underwater Marine Park for a unique snorkeling experience. This park contains 12 miles of decaying remains of several sunken ships, which provide for an abundance of fish.

Step 2
Snorkel over to the Virgin Islands. St. John and St. Croix are beautiful locations not only for visitors to view fish, but locals enjoy them as well. Trunk Bay on St. John has underwater signs directing you to facts and can help you identify some of the colorful fish and coral you may come across. Buck Island, off of St. Croix's coast, has a reef protected by the National Park Service. Here you can find 250 species of fish, as well as plenty of sponges.

Step 3
Travel to the self-appointed snorkeling capital of the Caribbean: Antigua. This island has the most beaches per capita in the region, providing for plenty of snorkeling opportunities. You can view elk and brain coral along with colorful sea anemones.

Step 4
View larger marine life such as stingrays at Stingray City on Grand Cayman. This is a popular location, as you can view dozens of tame, gentle stingrays during your snorkeling experience.

Step 5
Research the Caribbean island you want to visit. Many hotels offer ocean-side views where you can just walk down to the ocean's edge and start snorkeling. Many of these hotels also offer snorkeling equipment, allowing you to come and go from the water as you please.
