1
Cut out a rectangle from the green paper. Make sure it has even sides. The size of your rectangle is up to your preference, but the puppet will be most manageable if the rectangle is about the size of a piece of standard construction paper.
-
2
Fold the piece of construction paper lengthwise three times. The result should be a long rectangle consisting of thirds. Press down on the creases to keep the paper in place.

3
Make sure the thirds are even, then fold the long rectangle four times, accordion style, so that the each section looks like a square. When you're done, let the paper naturally unfold so that it looks like the letter "W."
-
4
Use crayons, markers or colored pencil to draw eyes on one of the end squares. If you plan on making the eyes look in a certain direction, know that the frog's face is meant to point towards the square's crease. You may also use liquid glue or a glue stick to attach googly eyes to the construction paper.
-
5
Outline a tongue shape on the red piece of construction paper. Use scissors to cut it out.
-
6
Glue the tongue underneath the square containing the frog's face. The tongue should be attached to the third square counting from the face and not the square sharing the same crease as the frog's face.
-
7
Slip your index and middle finger into the fold right behind the frog's face and put your thumb into the fold behind the frog's tongue. Open and close the folds to see your frog's face moving.
