1
Open up Microsoft Paint which can be found by clicking on the "Start" button, moving the cursor over "Accessories" then clicking on "Paint." Click on "File" on the top left corner and then select "New."
-
2
Select the line tool. Choose the thinnest line available and keep it black. Make a perfectly vertical line from the top of the page to the bottom in the exact middle of the page. Make a horizontal line from one side of the page to the other. After this there will be a plus sign with four right angles covering the entire page.

-
3
Make and X directly through the very middle of the plus sign from one top corner to the opposite bottom corner, and then repeat on the other side. Be very careful to keep the lines at 45 degree angles from the lines creating the plus sign.
-
4
Continue to add more lines through intersection in the middle. Keep the lines perfectly straight. Stop when there are a total of five lines in each quadrant made by the original two lines.
-
5
Change the line tool to the thickest line. Choose a bright color that will contrast the black and white such as yellow, red or orange. Make two thick horizontal lines parallel to the horizontal line in the middle. One will be approximately one quarter of the way toward the top of the page above the black line, and one about a quarter of the way below the line.
