How to Install the CC Image Search Firefox Extension

Instructions

1. Download the Mozilla Firefox Internet browser from the Mozilla site. Access the .xpi download file for the Firefox CC Image Search Extension. Save the .xpi download file to your computer's hard drive.

2. Open the CC Image Search folder you just downloaded and saved on your hard drive. Locate the CC Image Search icon in the folder. Open Firefox to bring up a browser window.

3. Click on the "CC Image Search" icon in the open downloaded folder. Drag the CC Image Search icon over to the open Firefox window. Release the icon so it drops into the open Firefox browser window.

4. Wait for the extension installation pop-up window to appear. Click "Install" to install the CC Image Search Extension into Firefox. Close the Firefox browser window.

5. Open a fresh Firefox browser window.

6. Look at the toolbars at the top of the screen and locate the search field labeled "Search Image." This is your CC Image Search function as successfully installed from the download.

7. Use the "Search Image" field in the toolbars at the top of the Firefox browser window to conduct a CC Image Search.
